Pro-Mark Thunder Rods Reviews 4

Pro- mark have a excellent variety of alternative drumsticks for the creative creation of sound. Their Rods line is for sure its more famous. I've had played with the H-Rods before and recently I tried the the Thunder Rods. They can sound almost as loud as a light drumstick, but with a less punchy attack characteristic. These are always present on my drumstick bag for acoustic type of gigs.

I bought this for $15, and its though construction will make them last for a very long time.

I love the bold sound these rods have comparing to the other pro-mark ones. I can beat the hell out of them while not worrying about breaking them. The rubbery handle make it comfortable, anti-slip grip, and the 'red belt' right above the middle of the stick, around the cymbal hitting area range, not only holds the whole stick together as it is great for a slight muffled crash cymbal hit.

I do find these a little stiff, with a slow bounciness, but it reflects its tough construction.

The Thunder Rods are seven, 16' in length and 0.187' in diameter sticks, comprised together. It has a plastic rubberi-sh handle and is very resistant.

The T-Rods is great for those in search of an almost full drumstick sound but still having rods in hands.
